What is get88?
get88 is a list of regional Australian employers, plus an engine that applies to them for you. A free account gives you verified employers with the email address for each one, filterable by state and exportable as a CSV. On a paid plan get88 ranks venues around your setup and emails them from your own Gmail. Sent For You is $29 once and sends 500 applications picked for you. Complete Campaign is $149 once, runs six weeks or until you land a job, and adds the full roster to browse and export.
What do I get for free?
Verified regional employers, with the email address for each one. Type your email and the list opens: filter it by state, search it by name, export the lot as a CSV. Everyone gets the same list, so nothing about it is tailored to you.
Do I need a card to see the list?
No. The list costs nothing and I never ask for card details to show it. There is no password to invent and no confirmation link to hunt for. You type your email and you are in. Card details only come up if you want get88 to do the emailing for you.
What changes if I pay?
Paying moves the typing off you. get88 picks your venues from every one I hold a working email for, ranks them around your setup, and sends from the top of that order. Your applications go out of your own Gmail, up to 100 a day, each one addressed to the venue by name with your CV attached. Sent For You is $29 once and buys 500 applications. Complete Campaign is $149 once, runs six weeks or until you land a job, and carries a 30-day refund.
Is the paid list unique to me?
Browsing the full roster belongs to Complete Campaign. On Sent For You your venues are picked for you at purchase and locked to you, so what you get is a campaign, not a database. Either way get88 ranks by your preferences and venue quality signals and sends from the top of that path, so two people are never working the roster in the same sequence.
Where are these employers?
Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and New South Wales. Whether a given town counts toward your 88 days is a postcode question, and the specified work guide answers it. The towns are listed state by state: regional work in Western Australia ranks every WA town by how many venues are on the list, and hospitality venues in Broome shows what sits in one of them.
How fast does it start sending?
The moment your card clears, the thank-you page has your activation link, and I email the same link to the address you paid with. Sign in with Google, fill in your details, add your CV, and connect your Gmail. The first batch goes out about a minute after you connect, so venues hear from you tonight.
Does it use my email, and will it hit spam?
Gmail lets a person send 500 emails a day out of that address by hand. get88 sends at most 100, so your account runs at a fifth of what Google already allows you. They go out one at a time in a single batch each morning, no BCC and no mailing list, and every one names the venue and carries your own details and your CV. You read the exact email before you connect Gmail at all, and you never email the same venue twice. You are the sender, and it sends the way you would if you had the time.
Why do you cap it at 100 applications a day?
Because 100 sits a long way under the line, deliberately. Gmail lets a person send 500 a day out of that address by hand; get88 stops at a fifth of that, and takes the lower number if Google says less is left that morning. If Google pushes back at all, the batch stops there and picks up the next day. One batch, one email at a time, once a day — a person looking for work, not a mailing list.
Do venues get spammed by get88 users?
get88 does not run every user's campaign through the same first 100 venues. The roster is ranked per user, and recently used venues cool down for 48 hours before another get88 campaign can send to them. That protects venues from a pile-up and keeps applications looking like normal one-person outreach.
A venue replies. Where does that go?
Straight to your own Gmail, because you are the sender. get88 was never given permission to read your inbox, so the engine can't open that reply and neither can I. Answer the same day. Give a start date and a phone number, and say yes to the trial shift.
What am I approving when I connect my Gmail?
get88 is verified by Google, so you get the normal permission screen and no warnings. What you approve is get88 sending email from your own Gmail, under your name. It was never given permission to read your Gmail, so it can't open your inbox or your contacts, and neither can I. Every permission it asks for is written out on the privacy page, and you can disconnect from the engine page whenever you want.
Do I need a Gmail account?
For the paid plans, yes. You sign in with Google, and every application sends from that Gmail, so that's where venues reply. No Gmail yet? A free one takes two minutes, and it's probably the address you want venues replying to anyway. The free list works with whatever address you already use.
Does get88 require clicking every night?
No. You set it up once. After you connect your Gmail it sends up to 100 personalised applications a day on its own, working through your prioritised venue order until the list is done, with nothing further for you to do.
How did you build this list?
I start with the Google Places API and pull every hospitality business in a regional town: hotels, motels, hostels, caravan parks, pubs, cafes, resorts. That gives me a name, an address, a phone number and a website, and not one thing I can send an application to. Then every venue gets checked one at a time. Anything whose website is really Booking.com, Airbnb or a Facebook page is thrown out, and I open the venue's own site and read the homepage and the contact and about pages for the address they publish there themselves. I keep it only if the email domain matches the venue's own domain, so no address ends up on the wrong venue's row, and I rank what I find: manager, jobs and careers addresses first, then reception and bookings, then the info@ ones. Anything ambiguous I look at myself rather than guess. Before an address goes on the list I check the domain still accepts mail and send it a real email to see that it lands, and anything that bounces or reports it comes off. No data broker, no scraped mailing list, no firstname@ I invented from a pattern. Every address on that list is one the venue put out in public for people to write to.
Are the emails current?
Every address is checked before it goes on the list, and they are the venues' real inboxes: in small hospitality places that inbox is the one the manager reads, and I strip the corporate catch-alls that go nowhere. Regional hospitality turns over fast, so a handful will have closed or changed hands by the time you send. If one stops working, I replace it.
Does get88 cover farm work?
No. get88 sends applications for hospitality and housekeeping roles only; farm, construction, mining and fishing work aren't on the list. You don't need a farm job to qualify for a second year — paid hospitality and tourism work counts too, in the right postcodes. The specified work guide sets out which ones.
Is this legit, and will it work?
You pay through Square and your account opens straight away. Sent For You is $29 once. Complete Campaign is $149 once and carries 30 days, any reason, to get your money back. Each email goes out from your own Gmail, addressed to the employer by name, and every address is checked before it goes on the list. I can't promise you a job; whether a cafe is hiring that week is out of my hands. Email hello@get88.au before you pay if you want to ask me anything first.
Refunds?
Complete Campaign: email me inside 30 days and I refund the full $149, no form, any reason. That closes your access, and there are no part refunds on a campaign that already ran. Sent For You: if your applications do not send, email me and I refund the full $29. Applications that already went out cannot be recalled, so those are not refunded, and I will always fix a delivery problem first, free.
Visa rules live in the guides
This page is about get88. The rules that decide your visa are ten separate guides, each written against the Home Affairs page it describes.
- What counts as specified work — which postcodes count for hospitality, and how one day of the 88 is counted.
- The second working holiday visa — the 88 days end to end: the work, the fee, when to apply, and the UK exemption.
- The age limit — 18 to 30, or 35 on ten passports, and what changed on 1 July 2026.
- Visa conditions — 8547 and 8548, the 12 months from first entry, and no dependent children.
- The 6 month rule — why hospitality is exempt from condition 8547 anywhere in Australia.
- Medicare — which passports get reciprocal cover, and when that cover runs out.
- ABNs and starting a business — when you are entitled to one, and when a venue asking for one is a red flag.
- Processing times — how long the 417 and 462 take, where you must be when you apply, and the BCC number.
- Permanent residency — why the visa is not a PR pathway, and the two routes that are.
- Is it worth it — the wage, the flat 15% tax, and the 65% withheld from your super when you leave.
Came here asking whether a working holiday visa can be extended? It can't. The second working holiday visa guide covers what you do instead.
