How does get88 work?

get88 is an account you set up once. You connect your own Gmail to it, and from then on it sends up to 100 personalised job applications a day from that address to hand-verified regional hospitality employers. It is not a click-every-night tool: once the setup is done, it ranks the full roster around your preferences and runs on its own. A free account shows you a set of those employers with their email addresses, so you can see the list before you pay for anything.
How do I set it up?
1. Activate your account
Your activation link shows on the thank-you page, and the same link is emailed to the address you paid with. You sign in with Google and land on your dashboard at get88.au.
2. Fill in your details and add your CV
First name, phone, the town you are in, when you can start, and which email you want sent. The CV you upload goes out attached to every application, and you see the exact email before anything sends.
3. Connect your Gmail once
A Google permission screen opens. Approve it and get88 can send from your own Gmail, under your name. It is not given permission to read your Gmail, so it cannot open your inbox or your contacts.
4. It sends in priority order
The roster is ranked around your setup first. The first batch goes out about a minute after you connect, then up to 100 a day each morning until the list is done. Replies land straight in your inbox, because you are the sender.
How do I find regional work for my 88 days?
get88 covers one specific slice of that search: hospitality and housekeeping roles in regional Australia, across Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and New South Wales. Instead of hunting venue emails one at a time, you set it up once and it emails the hand-verified employers on the list for you, up to 100 personalised applications a day, every one from your own Gmail. Paid campaigns are ranked around your setup before sending, and recently used venues cool down before another get88 campaign can send to them.
Each of those states has a page listing its towns by venue count — regional work in the Northern Territory is one — and each town has a page of its own, like hospitality venues in Darwin.
get88 is a job-application tool, not migration advice. Whether any role counts toward your visa is decided by the Department of Home Affairs — check the official specified-work pages for the 417 and 462 visas directly.
What does get88 not do?
- No farm work. The list is hospitality and housekeeping roles only — farm, construction, mining and fishing are not on it.
- No guarantee a town counts. Your postcode decides whether a job earns the 88 days. Check the town with Home Affairs before you take the shift.
- No job guarantees. get88 sends the applications; whether a venue is hiring that week is out of anyone's hands.
- No blasting. Emails go out one at a time, up to 100 a day — a fifth of what Gmail lets you send by hand. No BCC, no mailing list, and never the same venue twice.
- No reading your inbox. get88 never sees your password, and the engine was never given permission to read your Gmail — replies stay between you and the venue.
