Privacy

When you buy, Square processes your payment and shares your email with me so I can deliver your access. I use that email to send your activation link and to reply if you contact me.

I do not sell your details. If you open a free list account or buy, your email goes on my own get88 mailing list so I can send setup help and updates. No other list, and you can ask to be removed any time.

I use Meta's (Facebook/Instagram) pixel and Conversions API to see which ads and posts lead to real visits, signups, and purchases. This sends Meta a hashed version of your email (not your plain email) plus your IP address and browser type when you visit, open a free list account, or buy. Meta Platforms Inc. (based in the US) uses this to measure and improve ad delivery.

Square handles your card details under their own privacy terms. I never see your full card number.

How the sending engine uses your Google account

The send engine is a Google Apps Script that runs inside your own Google account, not on my servers. When it sends, it sends from your Gmail, under your name, from your address.

It has no permission to read your Gmail. I never asked Google for one. It cannot open your inbox, your threads, or your contacts, and neither can I. When a venue replies, the reply lands in your inbox and stays there. I never see it.

Google asks for four permissions when you connect. This is what each one does:

  • Send email as you. This is the product. Up to 100 applications a morning, out of your own Gmail. The engine also uses it to email you if something stops the batch, like a missing CV.
  • Run on a daily trigger. Connecting creates one scheduled job in your account that starts the morning batch. Disconnecting deletes it.
  • Connect to get88.au. The engine asks my server for the next batch of venues and reports back which ones went out.
  • See your email address. That is how I know which get88 account this Gmail belongs to, so your dashboard can show which address is sending.

What reaches my server: the email address of the Google account you sign in with, the Gmail address you connect, the details you type into your dashboard (first name, your partner's first name if you send as a couple, phone numbers, the town you are in, when you can start, and which email you picked), and the CV file you upload. I store the CV and hand it back to the engine each morning so it can attach it to your applications.

I also keep a send log: which venues have been emailed from your account, whether each one sent or failed, and the error Gmail gave back if it failed. That is what stops you emailing the same venue twice and what fills the progress count on your dashboard. It records venues and outcomes, not replies.

I write the emails on my side, from the template you picked and the details you gave me, and the engine sends them from your Gmail. So I know what goes out under your name. I do not know what comes back.

Connecting also stores a get88 key inside your copy of the script, in Google's own script storage. It only works against my API, and I keep a hashed copy of it rather than the key itself, so I can tell your engine apart from everyone else's.

Press "Disconnect and stop sending" on the engine page and three things happen: the key is deleted from your Google account, the daily trigger is deleted, and my server drops the connection. Nothing more sends. Whatever already went out stays sent, and replies keep landing in your inbox.

Google Limited Use

get88's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of information received from Google Workspace scopes adheres to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In plain English, here is what that means for get88. The only things I receive from Google are your account email address and the Gmail address you connect. I use them for one job: sending your applications and showing you your progress. I do not sell them, I do not hand them to advertisers, and I do not use them or your CV to train any AI model. Nobody at get88 reads your Gmail, because the engine never had permission to open it.

The resume check

If you run the resume check, your CV is sent to OpenRouter, which passes it to OpenAI to read and score. Both are in the United States, so your CV leaves Australia to get checked. It carries whatever your CV carries, which is usually your name, your phone number, your address and your work history. Neither company uses it to train a model, and neither keeps it after the check runs.

I keep the score, the fixes it suggests, and the quoted lines it pulled out of your CV, so the dashboard can show you the result later. Skip the resume check and none of this happens.

What I keep, and getting rid of it

While your account is live I keep your details, your CV, and your send log, because the engine needs them to keep sending and your dashboard needs them to show progress.

Disconnecting clears the Gmail side of it: the key, the daily trigger, and the connection on my server. Your details, CV and send log stay, so you can reconnect later without setting it all up again.

Want the rest gone? Open your dashboard and press "Delete my data". It happens straight away, without waiting on me: your details, your CV, your send log, and the connection to your Gmail are deleted off my server.
