Compare the workflows ↓Choose The 88th Day if…
The 88th Day may suit someone who wants a mapped employer directory, Premium live-job applications and work records in one account. Its public site also describes hour logging, payslip storage and an exportable record. Those tools can remain useful after you find a role; they do not decide whether the work meets your visa rules.

Plan your daily applications
Set a daily application routine around the employers that fit your search. The Get88 Method can send up to 100 a day where employer availability and Google quota allow. Save the roles and locations you can work in, then review your send count each day.
Prepare a clear CV and message
Lead with relevant experience, your start date, locations and availability. Upload a clear CV and approve an introduction that helps an employer assess your fit.
Contact employers before an advert
Ask suitable employers about current or upcoming work without waiting for a public listing. Your enquiry can reach them before they publish an ad; a contact does not confirm a vacancy.
Build a routine you can repeat
Approve your message and CV, connect Gmail and start applications. get88 schedules separate emails; you handle replies and follow-ups. Campaigns with the Get88 Method last six weeks, with manual restarts at no extra cost.
How the two work
| Feature | get88 | The 88th Day |
|---|---|---|
| Main task | Preparing and sending regional employer email applications. | Employer browsing, Premium live-job applications and work-record tools. |
| Find work | Available contacts selected around saved work and location preferences. | A mapped directory with region, pay and industry filters described on the public site. |
| Email workflow | Scheduled individual Gmail emails with your uploaded CV. | Premium advertises live-job applications. Detailed application and CV handling were not tested; a daily outreach campaign was not established. |
| Hours and payslips | The current application workflow does not provide a work-hours or payslip tracker. | The public site describes logging daily or weekly hours and uploading payslips. |
| Export | Focuses on applications and employer contact rather than exporting a visa work record. | Advertises an export with employer, hours, pay and ABN details together. |
| Listed contacts | An employer contact, with vacancies and role suitability still to check. | Its site says a listing does not establish hiring or guarantee specified-work eligibility. |
The differences that matter
The task changes once you start working
Before employment, your next step may be sending a CV and getting an employer response. Once you start, keeping accurate shift and pay records becomes a separate task. The 88th Day describes daily or weekly hour logging and payslip storage. Those tools can remain useful after you finish the employer search.
Mapped browsing and email execution require different effort
The 88th Day describes a directory you can explore by location and industry. Use it to research your preferred regions. With get88, check covered employers, prepare a CV and introduction around your skills and dates, then start daily outreach before you wait for an advert. Ask employers about current work as you handle their replies.
A work record supports your checking; it does not settle eligibility
Keep the employer's actual duties and workplace details alongside your hours and payslips. A tracker total or an ABN match cannot by itself establish that a particular role counts. Refer to the current Home Affairs rules for your subclass before relying on the role for specified work.
Start daily outreach, then keep the work record together
Choose the regions and work you can accept and check get88's available contacts. Prepare a CV with relevant experience and an introduction with your target work, location and start date.
Approve the email and CV, connect Gmail and start daily outreach within your plan's capacity. Use The 88th Day's mapped directory or advertised Premium live-job applications for additional leads.
Check replies each day, answer employer questions yourself and improve your application material as you learn what they need. Confirm the duties, workplace and employment terms before accepting a role.
Once working, keep accurate hours and payslips. If The 88th Day's tools fit, review and export your records while checking the applicable official rules.
We check hospitality employer locations against the official 88-day work areas. Explore get88’s regional towns and read our specified-work guide. Home Affairs sets the rules for 417 and 462 visas.
For hospitality roles, prepare your introduction with the hospitality application email template. The full guide includes a worked example of using advertised jobs and direct enquiries together and two founder replies with readable excerpts.
Current get88 terms
Sending requires Gmail. Employer availability and Google quota affect how many applications go out.
The Get88 Method
A$49 AUD once. No subscription or renewal.
Apply to regional employers without sending each email yourself. get88 sends your approved message and CV from your Gmail, up to 100 applications a day during a six-week campaign. You get lifetime roster access and can manually start another campaign at no extra cost.
Questions before you choose
Does get88 replace an 88-day hours and payslip tracker?
No. get88's current workflow helps you contact employers and send applications. It does not provide the hours, payslip and work-record tools advertised by The 88th Day.
Does The 88th Day send a daily campaign like get88?
The public page describes directory browsing, Premium live-job applications and work-record tools. It did not establish a comparable daily email campaign. We did not test its account or app, so this is a limit of the evidence rather than a claim about every feature.
Can a tracker confirm that my job counts toward my second year?
A tracker can help organise records. Confirm your role's duties and location against the official Home Affairs rules for your subclass; a logged day count or directory entry does not make that decision.

Premium live-job applications are advertised; the detailed application route and CV handling were not tested. We did not install the app, create an account, upload records or inspect an export. A daily outreach service was not established. Record tools do not determine visa eligibility.
